Give a taste of freedom to seduce a new target.
With this new film, Tomme de Savoie IGP wanted to change its image: from platter cheese to adventure companion. In collaboration with the We Are Bandits agency, we took charge of the image of the concept to infuse it with rhythm, movement and modernity.

background
After a first commercial produced in 2022, Tomme de Savoie IGP wanted to align its communication with its new signature: “Authentic at every bite”. The We Are Bandits agency gave us the mission of putting it into images with a fresh and dynamic visual approach.
Objectives
Break the image of cheese reserved for platters to make it an everyday product, rooted in outdoor culture and accessible to all. The constraint: to shoot exclusively on the territory of the IGP, above Lac du Bourget, between Cessens and the Savière Canal.
The idea.
Make a territory, a couple and a Tomme a simple and complicit narrative thread.
The film follows two characters as they go about their activities—climbing, hiking, hiking, canoeing, picnic—discussing in a light tone: is it modern, timeless, unique?
It is only at the end that we understand that they are talking about... the Tomme of Savoy.
An idea that is both clever and engaging, which places the product at the heart of a living, sincere and contemporary universe.

The return Without detours
Thank you for your professionalism and your great ideas on this project 💛
The genesis.
The initial concept focused on a single activity: hiking.
We proposed to extend the narration to other outdoor practices to reinforce the feeling of freedom and movement.
By working on rhythm, dialogue and visual construction, we injected our style: an organic, natural image, rooted in reality.

Our approach: to make people feel the vitality of the territory and the proximity of the product, without ever falling into the postcard.
Each plan is thought of as a breath, a breath of fresh air that celebrates simplicity and the joy of local life.
Solutions.
We adapted the script provided by the agency to boost the narration and vary the game situations.
A lot of scouting was done to identify a unique area where all the scenes — climbing, hiking, canoeing and picnicking — could be shot within a restricted area.
This optimization made it possible to shoot a complete film in one day, with a tight team of nine technicians.
The climbing sequence required careful technical preparation, with technicians and actors being put in safety for shots six meters above the ground, movie camera on their shoulder.
We delivered two variants of the film (30″ and 20″), managed the manufacturing of the DCP for cinema broadcasting and accompanied the ARPP validation for segmented TV broadcasting.
